Long Series Bushings
Achieve connections engineered for longevity
Long Series Bushing enables seamless and secure connections by accommodating pipes with varying outside diameters (OD). A removable, one-piece bushing integrates into Joints Couplings’ Tap-N-Tee saddle lateral connections or flexible rubber couplings. Comparable to conventional two-piece bushings, long series bushings, with a single-piece design, deliver uniform performance in pipe transitions. Forged from high-grade EPDM rubber, long series bushings satisfy the stringent demands of underground pipe systems.
Features
- Extended length design seats deeply inside coupling or lateral pipe opening
- One-piece EPDM rubber construction eliminates need for two standard bushings
- Accommodates pipes with different outside diameters (OD)
- Ready for standard or emergency jobs with unknown pipe sizes
- Longer surface contact area improves connection strength
- Functions as centering sleeve for proper pipe alignment
- Additional axial length creates wider compression zone for band clamps
Long Series Bushing delivers precision, strength, and dependability.
Provides firm, stable fit between connecting pipes
Simplifies installation process with single-piece solution
Enables connection between Tap-N-Tee Saddle and various lateral pipe sizes
Allows installers to match what's in the ground without delays
Resists pipe slippage from vibration, soil movement, or backpressure
Stabilizes and properly aligns smaller pipe inside the coupling
Creates stronger, more reliable seal through wider compression area
