A black flexible rubber coupling designed for underground sewer construction. A conical shape black EPDM rubber. Two 316 steel bands on the end near openings. Conical shaped coupling has two different opening size for linking vitrified clay pipe to thin wall plastic pipe. Opening A, on top, is smaller at 6.3 inches (110 millimeters) opening hole. Opening B, on bottom, is larger with a 8 inch opening for clay sewer pipes with an outside diameter between 8 inches (200 millimeters) to 7.5 inches (190 millimeters). Black flexible rubber coupling for underground sewer construction, made of durable EPDM rubber. Features two 316 stainless steel worm gear tightening bands at both ends for secure sealing. The straight-through design accommodates two identical 12-inch (300mm) clay sewer pipes with coupling inside diameters ranging from 14.5 to 15 inches (368 to 380mm). With a width of 6.5 inches (165mm), this coupling complies with ASTM C 1173, ASTM C 425, ASTM D 5926, and Greenbook specifications. Also known as Fernco Standard Coupling, Fernco Plastic Sleeve Seal, Mission Rubber Flex-Seal, Eastern Standard, Dallas Specialty Flexible Connector, and Pipeconex universal pipe connector.
